Jaap de Jonge
Jaap de Jonge (NL Breda, 1949) studied Dutch Language and Literature at the University of Groningen (NL) and worked many years as a teacher of the Dutch Language. Since 2005 he has been working as photographer starting to participate from 2013 in various solo and group exhibitions, mainly in The Netherlands and in Berlin (D).
De Jonge's soft eye cathes the appearance of men changing from generation to another and from role to role. Quirkiness, ascendency, innocence, grotesque, vulnerability, seductive anatomy and sensuality are attributed to those who De Jonge succeds to lure out of their inner world, or sometimes out of their solitude.
His works appeared in calendars, books and magazines in Europe.
He lives and works in Assen (NL)
